Two Blacks And A Red Wire

Corto circuito

John really wanted to ask as Canalis had been translated in Italy the title of the 1976 film "Taxi Driver", directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Paul Schrader (future director of American Gigolo, just think '!) And not those that came out of his mouth. Canalis, who was not even born in 1976, said "Taxi Driver", making unintentional joke, beautiful (just because the movie was released in Italy with the same title), one of those worthy of applause, what a funny name wild card, as you say you tell the audience laughs, and 8 times out of 10 is also the applause. But while Elizabeth answered ITALIAN in "Taxi Driver", was actually the victim of another short circuit: taxi driver mentally translated from English into Italian "Taxi Driver", then thought "I do not remember this movie," and then thought " taxi driver as they say in English? By George, we never got, we have the driver! However I would say taxi driver, driver, driver, driver, yes, I would say so, taxi driver. " And he said. Correct answer and stop involuntary fantastic. Robert De Niro remains, that the actor par excellence and memorable role in "Taxi Driver" for precisely that in the ear Right had a headset connected to the translator and had left the scene live: so the two stereo channels. And he felt that. Left ear: "How do you say Taxi Driver in English?". Right ear: "How do you say Taxi Driver in Inglese?". Left ear: "Taxi Driver." Right ear: "Taxi Driver." Hearing thus the order: Gianni in Italian, the translator who translated the English John, Elizabeth, who answered in English Gianni thinking in Italian, the translator who translates from English to Elizabeth De Niro. What he thought De Niro in that second? Probably only this: "If you want to call a taxi say that the interview is over. Maybe I can catch the 23:45 flight of ...".

Red White Polka Dot Wrapping Paper

Gianni e le donne

I tell you now that this post is a hymn. So it happens when you give a little 'well-being that you received during an hour and a half in the cinema. It is a hymn to the movie just came back from the Berlin Film Festival and showed how a man who wrote the screenplay for a movie like Gomorrah, tries to manage his relationships with women and is called just "Abbott and women" . When he came quell'ormai mythical "Pranzo di Ferragosto" , I was hoping to see as soon as possible to a Christmas lunch and maybe a third "Easter with whomever you want." It would have been too easy for a manufacturer to ask for them, and too easy for us to see them public. And then the second episode in the life of Gianni tells a truth that all men have in common that live on this planet Earth. It is the story of a man who spent the tasks "institutional" and then left the family home, you will find only other women of all ages, to manage it and send it to and fro on errands in a kind of a turn monopolies passing away each time by the little things to do, to Corto Lane to Victory Park. Are fragments a small fry, that of all days, which put together gives the entirety of a life. A life in the evening it is of course dinner in a restaurant, and if it happens at a restaurant, why not? Maybe in the company of two beautiful girls for an hour makes you think I want to spend the rest of the evening with you and instead have another appointment, and then ... "Maybe next time." Or a half-hour spent on a windowsill with a "whitebait" in hand, or rather a Chablis, watching those who pass beneath, and the head, for that brief period of time we leave, it is free to travel elsewhere, in a meadow of thought that would not otherwise have found: sono talmente poche le decisioni che prendiamo che quelle piccole è proprio meglio godersele.
Serve altro?

Can You Have A Happy Life With Someone With Mania

typically Italian art magazines: Artedossier, directed by Philippe Daverio

With Artedossier was not the case. I have not finished browsing all the pages because I could not go to the next without getting devoured every line of the previous year.
Interesting news, articles deep and involving, from classical mythology to contemporary art. The contents are very high level and very smooth, you read all in one go. And the formula of the file attachment, every time devoted to an artist or a movement, he quickly found my appreciation. Annex to the February issue, a dossier on Matisse and the Mediterranean: the theme of the Mediterranean is the thread around the February issue, the editorial Article - among the most interesting - Passions beef around the Mediterranean reading iconological myths of Europa and Io as engines of the world from the Mediterranean ' antiquity to the present.
E 'available for download the special exhibitions 100, guide to art exhibitions taking place in Italy and worldwide.
I think this magazine will enjoy the attention my future!

After Gibbs' rules, the rules of Rici!

I am fond of the television series NCIS .
The characters are fantastic, I love them from first to last, each with its specific characteristics that make them unique and special: the passion for cinema Anthony DiNozzo with the penchant for beautiful women and the "rookie" computer expert Timothy McGee, the former Mossad agent Ziva David, and the Gothic lab technician Abby Sciuto, a forensic pathologist Dr. calm. Donald Mallard with his assistant Jimmy Palmer.
The team leader is the charming star of the show Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, who coined 50 rules for his team, to be respected to the letter: The last ten are to be used only in case of emergency, while a 51 °, is added in the last episode of season seven. Some of these rules are nothing short of fantastic! We should all keep in mind.

Inspired by Gibbs during a conversation with a friend some time ago, I started collecting I also rules Rici! These are some of my typical characteristics of the main traits of my personality, the basis of my philosophy of life. As Gibbs
rules, they grow over time according to the suggestions of the moment. But, unlike Gibbs who has never placed its rules in a single library but keep in scattered notes, now that I collect my rules are all together.
Here's the first: You can see them as a sort of "instructions for the use of Rici" or general life advice.

# 1 In bag of a girl should never be missed: a flashlight, possibly dynamic, with a rib and a boxcutter, possibly multi-purpose.
# 2 worry about me only in two cases, if you do not eat and if they are too silent: the former worry about me, in the second case for you ...
# 3 Always keep in mind the third law of thermodynamics. # 4
always satisfy the lunatics in the exhibition of their folly, especially if the fool in question is me ...
# 5 The glass is always half full! ( The world is made to scale )
# 6 The important thing is to believe. Always. (I'm a believer )
# 7 Never groped to reduce their contrasts to compromise. ( This is Rici )
# 8 A woman multi-tasking and multi-functional and can do several things at once better than if the did separately.
# 9 If you do not feel you can not know!
# 10 should climb the mountains, and once at the top, enjoy the top for as long as possible. ( My happiness )

I'm coming out

Nel 1980, faceva caldo, usciva un disco con un titolo semplice “diana”, scritto in minuscolo, in copertina una bella signora in fruit bianca non stirata e jeans, ci sembrava una vecchia, che si manteneva bene, fotografata in un bianco nero molto cool da Francesco Scavullo, un fotografo di moda e di celebrities che all’interno della copertina, that opened in two as if it were a double, had another shot in color, with a dress, the better off, and a signature: Diana Ross. The album was produced by Chic that a few years earlier had invented the bass in all subsequent years they would then inspired. 8 pieces: 4 side A and side B 4 Basta. The first was "Upside Down", and go Well we remember all but the last of the first side "I'm coming out with a guitar began ordering the agreements on which 'is to sing that old is coming out, a drum solo goes its own way without understanding what has to happen, so that the piece never seems to start and finally, after 52 seconds, a voltage crazy, the bass part and then the piece.
Characters and performers at the time of this disc:
Singer: Diana Ross who was then 36 years, (looked like an old woman?)
Order: 28 Bernard Edwards, Nile Rodgers 28.
Photographer: Francesco Scavullo, was the oldest and had 59.
Buyer: I, 17.
And I'm here today 31 years later, to write about.

Love is life - and life has something immortal

" not startle a shadow, not a whisper of excitement.
This report has the same passion of a pair of Red Kites.
I want someone to overwhelm you. I want yeast you, I want you to sing with rapture and dance like a d erviscio. Have a delirious happiness or at least not reject it.
I know that seems sickly sweet but love is passion, obsession. Someone not live without.

I say dive in.
Find someone to love who loves you to madness and the same way.
How to find it? Well, forget the brain and listen to your heart.
I do not feel your heart.
Actually, darling, is that there is no point living if this is missing.
make the journey and not fall in love deeply is equivalent to not live.
But you have groped, because if you tried you never lived. "

wish everyone to meet true love.
getting lost in the eyes of the beloved.
Di love a person more than his own life.
of being loved to death.
to sing with rapture and dance like a dervish.
to hear that all the world, everything you need is the person we love.
of dissolution for a kiss.
to feel full, knowing that he had found his half of the apple.
be happy beyond belief.
I know what I speak, I tried it. It's the best feeling you can experience in life. So it's worth even to suffer terribly.

It's just a coincidence that my message gets through the Valentine's Day.
Many consider this day pure consumerism, and I I have always been among them.
Valentine's Day is the feast of love, not for lovers.
is not a day that give flowers or chocolates, dinner by candlelight. ;
Valentine is a way of life.
Who is in love, truly in love, celebrating Valentine's Day every day.
We hope that you will always be Valentine's Day!

Always love,
and this is my argument:
love is life
and life has something immortal.

La nuova Fiat

This spot is currently seen by more than 6 million people, as well as whether those who are drunk during the interval of the Superbowl (broadcast it costs just 9 $ million: almost un'Olgettina). Advertise a car produced in the United States of America, and the scene is really a Chrysler 200, a car from old, led by a boy, Eminem, professional rapper. This guy, ex-toxic, converted to butter and cheese by Elton John (as usual, where there is drug, Elton comes to help you stop), and its patrol Detroit places of the heart, including the Ambassador Bridge, the murals, the monuments, the skaters on the ice, everything in a different lens, that of the voiceover that accompanies it: the speaker knows, it might be that of a Chrysler worker who all his dirty life has learned that the fire is burning in make the steel more strong, in a life of bolts, plates, grease, rags and hemp, in a word, hard work, as well as pints of beer drunk in bars around the factory there at the end of turn. After a tour in this city, where fog and smoke have no boundaries between them, the car stops at the Fox Theater where they are rehearsing the components of a gospel choir. The boy joined them on stage and announced peremptorily: "This is Motor City, this is what we do" and leaves. Final written: "The Chrysler 200 has arrived. Imported from Detroit. " Wonderful, thanks to this extraordinary voice with his usual poignant ceremonious American rhetoric, is to take seriously everything that bring in the American scene, from Oscar to the recitation of asylum. This spot is about history, their, car manufacturers, but also of pride, city, and it happened in Detroit, so much stress that they are not talking about New York or even Chicago, but of a city, Detroit, that has nothing to do with the luxury.
So, given that Chrysler and Fiat are now the same thing, why not a spot so we do too, in Italy? I already see it: the tune of "Everything else is boring," the Caliph, one of the boys and friends, or X-Factor through the streets around the Dora Riparia, passes Mirafiori, revolves around the Mole and the voice of a laid off in retirement preliminary phrases like "this is our history" (but of what? us that even if we manage to agree celebrate the unification of Italy). Still a few laps, the boy, after parking in the third row, enter the Teatro Alfieri, and a chorus to the tune of ours who sings "O sole mio" looks into the car and says in his brilliant Italian: "This is the Motor City This is what we do, no? "comes an inscription:" New Panda, imported from London. " How?

Captcha yes, captcha is not it?

Captcha, that is the word verification that sometimes it is requested on a website to post a comment or validate a registration.
The idea itself is clever and useful: to prevent automated programs from acting on our behalf, then signing up on sites that do not interest us or blocking the sites of unwanted comments.
Even blogs hosted on Blogger, like mine, have the option captcha: You can activate it and then want to force anyone to comment on a post to add the magic word.
As in all things, there are pros and cons. The use of captcha, valuable in my opinion if you are recording to a particular web service, but in the long run is detrimental to the life of a blog.
The blog lives on not only posts written by the author, but especially the comments from other bloggers and visitors. A blog without comments is like a discussion forum with no answers at which point you might as well make some of the traditional static web page. I go to administer and some forums : I tried to think how it would be heavy usage with the introduction of the captcha. A real madness! Captain sometimes heated discussions and very active, quick as a voice conversation: die at birth if any response should occur in good faith with a captcha!
The same goes for what I think a blog. At the captcha
was also active on my blog, but long ago I also received an unwanted comment, real spam, and shortly after I read an article Robydick , reported on the blog Lara . I immediately agree on a blog that the word verification is more damage than a gain!
So how to avoid the invasion of spam?
Robydick to disable the anonymous comments: good advice! In fact on my blog "Chridhe Gàidhlig - Gaelic Heart" time ago I had happened to a real invasion of hundreds of anonymous spam comments, and I proceeded to immediately turn off the ability to registered users to leave comments.
this solution can also be a disadvantage, because they force their visitarori to activate multiple accounts in order to interact with different sites. Luck is that Blogger lets you choose between several popular and widely used account.
I hope that my decision to eliminate the captcha levying the approval of those who follow me. Personally, after weighing the pros and cons, you are encouraged to every blogger. Thanks Robydick and Lara!

Build A Plywood Pontoon

Le decisioni

Have you ever thought about certain decisions of your life? Have you ever thought without realizing that you could give some to turn your life over another, short of having taken a road, not necessarily wrong, but different? You know that there are different lives from yours, but much closer than you think, only for the different attitude that you may have in respect of that journey to the end that we call life? You know that there were men who found themselves four children by different women, who loved so different from each other, and today there are around four children who worship him anyway? There are men who have chosen a job after studying it for years and years and now seems to be the scariest thing in their lives.
Tre? Quattro? E quali sono? Il matrimonio? I figli? Abbiamo fatto bene, abbiamo fatto male? Tua moglie: ci stai ancora insieme, o hai divorziato? E con tuo figlio? Pensi di essere ancora as a model for him when he was 10? Do you still look in the eye, tell us? He asks you for advice? The house you bought was the workshop of your life or just a place to sleep? I ask because I wonder if the walls in there about you and your history, moments that have passed between good ones and bad ones, including anniversaries and important dates. Once you have answered these questions, then ask yourself if by chance rather than three, four major decisions, maybe does not have counted as "small", taken daily, but which, all put together, have a change in your life. Some say that in reality there is another life inside of us, it's just very deep, and the one that decides for us. Without our control, which applies only to implement, practically a formality: the decision has been made, without us, without our apparent consciousness. This
wanted to tell you, because even now that I think, in reality, you've already decided.

Letter Writing For Store

Ciarpame

Garbage. How else to define the stuff that we have at home under your eyes every day, but we do not use simply because we do not see? We are full of garbage, whose main defect is hidden until you let go, is that it has its own volume, takes place inside our house by removing the air we breathe. Among the thousand I can think of only three. The air fresheners for the home, which ones? Old ones are normal in a bottle with the sprayer? Those with a name like "pine" or "sea water" that you use only when a girl comes to dinner? Maybe those were just, let's not forget the new ones, advertised on TV, equipped with a infrared sensor, as a burglar alarm at the passage of a stranger, sorry, someone in the house, releasing a spray of automatic any essence that can always remember one of those that makes you a mechanic when you leave the car in for repair to the cry of her accommodation. Not to mention some of those 'more zen, with chopsticks stuck in a bottle Glass: go upside down every now and then, not every six months, but even once a day, sometimes. There was a time we can, never! Did you get those sticks in their hands like samurai who do so much as a house of Giorgio Armani and spitting them out all around, especially in the eyes, the essence of magic, you find yourself then for another six months on hand to rinse immediately, otherwise dangerous redness Armani Armani to let him do that. The svitatappi metal to open the tomatoes that you have given. Scene: the kitchen, interior night lighting. Sitting on a ladder from Ikea Bekvam € 8.99, squeeze between your knees a glass jar of peeled closed from fear to lead a professional brewing. Unable to open a mano. Rimangono instead of life available to the aerosol products, some herbal tablets for sore throats, eye drops, a syringe that scares you and see how the billions of lactic acid bacteria, living or dead, is the same. A never any pain. But at the bottom of this reservoir of good junk and useless check a packet of cotton wool. And you can think of only one thing: we hope that someone gets hurt, so use it!

Red Italian Coffee Tables

The world is made to scale ...

This post came to my mind commenting on another blog of my friend Lorelai. His talk about the ups and downs of life reminded me of the saying "The world is made to stairs, someone who goes down and there .
Now I've come up with the perfect illustration of this sentence: Ascending of Escher.
E 'which are known to all an optimist, that for me the glass is always half full, almost pieno.Quasi because things do not always go well, not always as they should go, how would you have imagined, as you wanted. disasters, misfortunes, mistakes ... many things can disrupt our way down the stairs of life, turning a gentle descent into a strenuous climb.
But the climb back to a descent is possible! Sometimes you need time, effort, compromise, but end everything can be fixed.
The world is made to scale, of course. But for future prospects.
Others see every goal in height, who has leveled before a gentle descent, who takes everything to light, those too seriously.
My perspective is this.
The world is made to scale as in Ascending of Escher. Look at a point on the scale: it is an uphill or downhill? What today seems like a climb, we may find tomorrow that it was rather a descent. Remember when learning the multiplication tables was a dilemma? Today maybe the problem is a university exam: after graduation, a day at work think you would prefer to support ten exams!
The world is made to scale, somebody goes down and there are those who salt.
And you? Go up or down?
